ANTI-CHRISTIAN BIAS IN SCIENCE;
In the October 1994 issue of Omni (a popular/public
science magazine) there is an article titled "Science and
Religion." This article is about a man who went on to receive a Ph.D. in physics
despite being told by his professor; "he had the potential to be a first class
scientist if only he could jettison his Christianity."
There is anti-Christian bias
in colleges. Read
about a professor who had to fight for her job because of her faith (about 40%
of the way down the site page.)
The student refused to do what was suggested and got his
Ph.D. anyway.
How many others, however, are pushed away from science or barred from top
science positions where the direction of science is determined, just because
they believe in God? No wonder polls of scientists show that less than half of physicists
believe in God. Students who do believe in God are
often pushed
out of science into other fields of endeavor. It is not
surprising, therefore, that less than half of scientists believe in God.
That does not come from the reality of actual science, but
science community bias which discourages students of faith from entering the profession.
The threat of bias in colleges is not just in science. There are many
professors with extreme left bias who are a threat to the United States.
Right wing bias is usually at least more open.
Dangerous Professors.
A
scientist with the following incredible credentials says; "If you really
study science, it will bring you closer to God." His name is
J. Tour, professor of chemistry, with a Ph.D. in organic chemistry and post
doctoral studies at Stanford and the University of Wisconsin! Professor
Tour also says
"Only a rookie who knows nothing about science would say science
takes away from faith." This professor is an expert in
molecules. He also says; "I stand in awe of God
because of what he has done through his creation."
Also on the positive side, the truths of science are beginning to produce
a change in the
attitude of scientists towards religion (read second paragraph from bottom.

"Godless" Read chapters 7 thru 11 of this book
if you don't believe science is atheistically biased beyond the basic philosophy
which should govern science. This book is hard right in its views, but the
basic messages about
left
wing bias in atheistic science are mostly true.
High
school bias against teaching student the truth and possible alternative to
Darwinian macroevolution.

recommend buying the book. This is just to give the reader insight on the
bias against faith in the scientific leadership.)
