HIDDEN ASSUMPTIONS OF MACRO DARWINISM PROPONENTS

Be aware that the following are only assumptions and usually are glossed over;

1) The Darwinian paradigm has no limits in the evolution of life

2) There has been a continuous string of ancestors and it is just that those ancestors have not yet been found and not that they don't exist.

3) All the information needed by life is hard coded in the DNA and that there is no type of information field which adds to or controls the information in the DNA.

4) Evolution includes only classical effects (no account is given to wave mechanics, fields, or quantum effects.)

5) Nonlinear effects need not be considered or can be explained by linear microevolution (the assumption that the whole is the simple sum of the parts and that such simple additions can bridge all discontinuities which are pervasive between major life forms/types.)

6) No form of organizing/directing life field is needed.

7) The blind alleys into which Darwinian selection will inevitably move can be exited (evolution in reverse) or are not a major effect leading to extremely low probabilities.

8) While life can only come from life, something analogous to natural selection occurred at the molecular level to begin life even though no evidence exists for such a process.

9) Commonality of components proves ancestral relationship.

10) No other explanation is possible which would not involve direct creation by god at all levels.
There is no hard proof that any of these assumptions are true.

All the above are assumptions only, there is no scientific principle to believe otherwise and little data to support the validity of the assumptions.  The best supporting data is for 2) and 9) but that support does not rise to a level of proof.
