SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE:

There are numerous websites which list scientific confirmation of mostly historical aspects of the Bible and interpretations which are consistent with true science (Science and the Bible site.  Discussion of consistencies with science.)  Refer also to the links we have found which we believe represent the best science in this regard, highlighted in gray or yellow.   Our beliefs are very similar to those sites we reference in regards to science being supportive of a belief in God.   We differ,  however, from those sites in that we believe that even without reference to the Bible, a strong case can be made for the probable existence of God.   We believe there is a need to argue against atheistic interpretations of science on the basis of science fact alone and we will do so in this site.

The purpose of this site, then, is to present the limits and truths of science without reference to the Bible and to show that the truths about God still shine through his creation.  We believe that while some science can be applied to the Bible, most of the important truths in the Bible are beyond science.

We do not see a conflict between any proven science and the Bible. We know of no scientifically provable conflict with any biblical truth.  The possibility of miracles is also not excluded by science and in fact, quantum mechanics (the most basic law of physics) shows that very unusual things can be consistent with physical laws.  Great scientists who believed in the Bible.

We believe that there are many very simple and reasonable interpretations of science which point towards God and that such interpretations can also be made independent of the Bible and without conflict with the Bible.

We believe that in accordance with 2 Corinthians 3 v 4 “the spirit giveth life” and that the “spirit” is the key to the Bible and spirit is beyond this physical world and that “spirit” is by definition above and beyond science.

We believe, however, that a better understanding of the truth and limits of science will help show that faith is still necessary even in a scientific society and that such a faith is not something which is in any way refuted or precluded by true/hard science.

We believe that scientific support for any faith will never make it above attack by atheists who believe in reductionism. (Reductionism meaning a belief that anything and everything is simply the sum of the parts and by reducing the part being understood to a smaller and smaller size, the reality of the whole can ultimately be completely explained.) We believe that reductionism is on the verge of being shown to be an untenable scientific position on complex issues such as the origin and nature of life, but there will always be atheists who will not believe in something which cannot be explained by science in their viewpoint.

Our hope is that this site will help people to come to better understand the profound limits of science, so they can better differentiate between true science and the extreme unfounded philosophical speculations being propounded by atheistic scientists.  We especially hope to help those who have been subjected to unfounded atheistic interpretations of science findings which have clouded their beliefs, find their way back to the truths of God in part by realizing that they are not going against true science.

We recommending reading the book; "The Case For A Creator" by L. Strobel which contains a wide range of scientific references.
